Lalo’s Cocina Mexicana: An Unforgettable Taste Experience in Frisco

10/10! I believe i ordered the Mexican Enchiladas so good! The flan was one of the best i’ve had! Super rich and creamy. Definitely recommend stopping by.

Loved this restaurant. The salsa and chips were delicious, and the food was just incredible. Loved it. The second time we visited we ordered the queso and that also was delicious. The atmosphere is laid back with excellent bar service. Tables are open and room to navigate. Will definitely revisit again and again.

Short Weekend trip to Dallas/Plano left us a little hungry after exploring and shopping! Stumbled on this place and legit only went off Google and Yelp reviews because I'm a stickler for "vibes" and pictures! The photos make it look very lively and fun so imagine our surprise at happy hour on a Friday walking into an entirely empty restaurant! Two couples inside and a couple guys drinking on the patio. We still decided to stay because we were hungry and the place itself is super duper nice and cute! We opted to sit at the bar where we were kindly greeted and two TVs playing football with no volume (which I love)! The barstools were very comfortable as well. Ordered two of the BEST margaritas I've ever had with the gran marnier! I now want all my margs made this way. No need for a second! For food, the enchilada verde and the taco lunch plates were pretty dang good. No complaints there and the servings were reasonable and not too much from the lunch menu. No leftovers. Really enjoyed the verde. Chips and salsa were something to write home about! Amazingly toasted and crunchy, I should have asked for a bag to go with just those chips! Very good! All in all, the staff was too kind and it happened to be my friend's birthday so I "snuck away to the restroom" and told our waiter and he surprised us with a perfect tres leches slice that was absolutely delicious! For lunch and margs I spent $65 and he treated us with that dessert and I felt like that was so sweet! Thank you team at Lalo! You guys were great and I now actually like that the restaurant was slower at the time but I do hope they pick up because it was a great place for us! Enjoyed very much and if we are ever back in the area we will stop through.

Had a great time here! They were able to make our food spicy, and even offered modifications that weren’t on the menu. Loved their flexibility. Servers name was Bernie and he was so sweet! Will go back!

Decided to give Lalo’s a try. Mexican Restaurant located in Frisco. Ordered cheese enchiladas, one with tomatillo sauce and one with sour cream sauce and both were topped with sautéed mushrooms. Overall, enchiladas were good and mushrooms were quite flavorful. But slightly too much cheese inside. Also ordered queso which was a disappointment. It was slightly watered down and lacked flavor. I had to add some salsa to it and then taste became a lot better.
